Dr. Lauryn Beavers joined the Lifetime Animal Center team in June 2025. She brings a passion for shelter medicine and hands-on experience that began in 2018 as a kennel technician. Over the years, she worked her way up to veterinary assistant and continued in the field throughout undergrad and vet school. When not caring for pets, Dr. Beavers enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband Riley and their two dogs, Bonnie the Corgi and Clyde the Rottweiler.

In 1997, he and his wife opened Lifetime Animal Center, fulfilling his mission of "caring for all God's creatures." Outside of work, he enjoys outdoor activities, family time, and community service.

Dr. Sharon Keairnes, a University of Missouri graduate, has been with Lifetime Animal Center since 2002. A Kansas City native, she's passionate about veterinary medicine and family life. Outside work, she enjoys canoeing, camping, and caring for her many pets.
