Payton started volunteering at Lifetime Animal Center in 2021. While she was a volunteer, she fell in love with the veterinary field and knew she wanted to make it her career. She has always had a passion for animals and knew this was her calling. In May of 2021, she began working as the morning kennel technician. She then began working at the receptionist desk in December 2021 and continued fulfilling the kennel technician position. In March of 2022, Payton was offered a veterinary assistant position and was happy to be more hands on with the patient medical care. Payton wanted to further her knowledge in the field and began her education at Penn Foster University to pursue her veterinary technician degree. In Payton’s free time, she loved to ride horses with her mom, take her two dogs to the dog park, and spend time with her husband, Cameron. You can catch Payton working with our patients to help them have a better quality of life.
