Dr. Chuck Barry

Veterinarian

Dr. Barry, a University of Missouri graduate, has been practicing veterinary medicine for over 30 years. In 1997, he and his wife opened Lifetime Animal Center, fulfilling his mission of "caring for all God's creatures." Outside of work, he enjoys outdoor activities, family time, and community service.

Dr. Barry graduated from the University of Missouri with a B.S. in Agriculture in 1984 and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1987. Aiming toward becoming a veterinarian since fifth grade, he has always had a gentle love for people and animals. In 1997, after a decade in private practice, he and his wife opened Lifetime Animal Center and began his mission of “caring for all God’s creatures.”

Dr. Barry and his wife, Denise, have four children, Madison, Mason, Miles, and Maxwell. The family enjoys several pets including the family dogs Marley and Bentley, the cat crew of Max, Griffon, and three horses, Sierra, Sophie and Prince. Dr. Barry enjoys family activities including softball, hunting, fishing, camping, cycling, and horseback riding.

In his spare time, Dr. Barry is active in the community with Grover Park Baptist Church, Rotary International, the Warrensburg Chamber of Commerce, and is a Troop Committee Member for BSA Troop 513. He has served as Vice President, President-Elect, President, and Chairman of the Board of the Missouri Veterinary Medical Association and is a past President of the Missouri Academy of Veterinary Practitioners. He has also previously served as Chairman of the Board for the Missouri Veterinary Medical Licensing Board. Dr. Barry is also a member of the MVMA, AVMA, and the Missouri MVAMA Delegate to the AVMA.
