Carris

Kennel Technician

Starting as a kennel technician in 2024, Carris was promoted to Veterinary Assistant and plans to pursue a degree in Large Animal Science at Penn Foster to become a technician specializing in large animal care, while also running a dog-sitting business and caring for her two rabbits, Dug and Bug.

Hello! I’m Carris. I started working at Lifetime Animal Center in April 2024 as a kennel technician. I began as a weekend kennel tech but then switched to the weekday evening shifts. After a year of working in kennels, I got promoted to a Veterinary Assistant! I plan to further my education at Penn Foster, pursuing a degree in Large Animal Science. My goal is to become a veterinary technician, specializing in the care and treatment of large animals. I’m passionate about animal health and dedicated to gaining the knowledge and skills needed to make a positive impact in veterinary care. I have two rabbits named Dug and Bug, along with many other animals. In my free time I expand my dog sitting business as a side job. I’m so excited to be able to work at this facility, I learn and grow every single day!
